December 14:  NADXC Christmas Dinner and Officer Installation.  This year's event will again be held at the Greenbrier BBQ Restaurant just off I-565.  NOTE* This is the "NEW" Greenbrier, not the old one that is a little way up the road to the north. We will be ordering off the menu instead of having a set meal choice.  Greenbrier has a large menu ranging from typical BBQ sandwiches, chicken to catfish and everything is reasonably priced ($6~$10), so bring the entire family.

A sound-card rig interface will be given away as the door prize so make sure you don't miss the program!

February 12:  Dinner  as usual at Ryan's Family Steakhouse.  Brief business meeting as usual at Ryan's. Then, leave Ryan's and go to the QTH of Nancy and John Morris (K4JD and K4XH)  to see a live demo of the new Icom 756 PRO II, in service with a real antenna.  Follow this link to a map to John and Nancy's QTH.

November 12:  The program for the November 12 meeting will feature two videos: 1. K5K DXpedition to Kingman Reef, Year 2000. 21 minutes 2. Five DXpeditions of the year 1993 - 2000. The untold story as remembered by Bob Allphin, K4UEE, or "IT AIN'T ALL RADIO." 30 minutes Both of these videotapes are terrific. They are well done, interesting, adventurous, and funny. December 17:  **NOTE This is the THIRD Tuesday, not our normal meeting night**NADXC Christmas Dinner and Officer Installation   Redstone Officer's and Civilian's Club on Redstone Arsenal.    Social hour begins at 6:00PM with Dinner at 7:00PM.  The COOK IS going to prepare a tossed GLORIOSO salad, PALMYRA prime rib and a BOUVET potato, GREENLAND peas w/mushrooms,  along with ICELAND tea or JAVA and maybe some Lemon or CZECHlat pie. 2001

January 9:  'Re-Discovering the NADXC.'  Installation of club officers, discussion of proposals set out in the January LongPath, filling LongPath editor position, and other items of concern for the coming year.  Please see the January 2001 edition of the LongPath for more information.

February 13: Continuation of the 'Re-Discovering the NADXC' program regarding the proposals discussed at the January 9 meeting.

March 13: The History of Collins Radio by Butch Schartau, K0BS

April 10:  Rick Ruhl, W4PC will present a program on Creative Services Software's various software programs, such as Log Windows and PacTerm.

May 8:  Tim Cunningham, N8DEU will present a program on satellite DXing. **Postponed til next month**  Barry Johnson, W4WB gave a presentation on the Yaesu FT-817.

June 12:  Tim Cunningham, N8DEU will present a program on satellite DXing.

July 10:  John Morris, K4XH will present a program on rotor control modifications.

August 14: Last minute Huntsville Hamfest discussions about NADXC booth and DX Banquet. Steve Werner, AG4W will talk about getting his Satellite station up and running.

August 18: DX Banquet at Huntsville Hamfest in VBC at 6:30 PM- Wes Lamboley, W3WL once again will be the guest speaker and will talk about the D68C DXpedition.

September 11: Tom Russell, N4KG will present a program on "Setting Goals or Are You Working DX?"

October 9: Tom Russell, N4KG will present a program on receiver front ends.  Officer elections.

November 12: Donnie Murray, KO4J will present a program on his trip to do missionary work in Uganda where he helped put up a 175 foot radio station tower.
